Refund Policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026

This policy describes how Ninth Studio approaches cancellations and refunds for digital services. Your accepted project proposal or written agreement sets the specific payment terms.

1. Project proposals and deposits

Project fees, milestones, payment dates and any deposit are set out in the proposal, statement of work or written agreement accepted by both parties. A deposit reserves capacity and may cover planning, discovery or other initial work.

2. Cancellations

If you need to cancel a project, please tell us in writing as early as possible. You will be responsible for fees for work completed and costs or commitments reasonably incurred up to the cancellation date, as described in your agreement. Any remaining balance will be handled under that agreement and applicable law.

3. Refunds

Digital design and development work is produced for a specific project. Fees for work already completed are generally not refundable. Any refund of an unused deposit or prepaid amount will depend on the written project agreement, work completed, costs incurred and applicable law. We will discuss concerns in good faith and aim to find a fair resolution.

4. Third-party costs

Domain registrations, paid themes, apps, advertising spend, hosting, software subscriptions and other third-party charges may be non-refundable under the provider's terms. Unless agreed otherwise, these charges are separate from our service fees.

5. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated periodically. The terms agreed for an individual project may provide additional details and will be read alongside this policy, subject to applicable law.
